the day of fools

I have to hand it to Christy Solberg and Katie Shuh for pulling quite a fantastic prank on me.
Here is a photo essay complete with my mental dialogue.

So I walk outside to my car.
The only problem there is that my car is missing.
I go through all the possible scenarios.
I drove somewhere and left my car there. Not likely.
Grace took my car. Likely, but not this time around because she has Hope's car.
Someone stole my car. Unfortunately, that seemed most probable.

See below for missing car:

Then it hits me. Today is April 1st.
April Fool's Day.
You think I'd be slightly less shocked seeing as I woke up to the television, staircase and light switches covered in tinfoil and a fridge filled with mugs and bowls.
This still begged the question: so if not here ... where is my car?

See below for answer:

My car Lex is in the garage. Covered in ... you guessed it ... tinfoil again.

Don't worry, loyal reader (hi, mom), I pranked them back.

  1. I (i.e. your other loyal reader), for one, would like to know how you pranked them back.

  2. (From comment above:) As do I... But to be honest, I'm close to removing this ole blog from my reader if I don't get the shout out that you promised. (Insert big sigh of disappointment here.)

I also heard about you getting pranked. Pretty funny. Random with tin foil, but funny.

I would also care to hear about how you got them back.
