Sometimes, graduating in this "depression #2?" makes me a bit nervous. 

... this picture is encompassing of how I, and many others, see our economy right now. It always helps to put a lighter spin on rough times, and laugh about them.




This picture is hilarious. 
Read the smaller font and see what I, fresh journalism grad, have to look forward to.

Word on the typeface street is that Microsoft didn't want to pay for Helvetica, so they formatted their own font, arial, that comes bundled on every Microsoft program. Readily available. As you can see, there is a difference of ... well, slim to none. 
Helvetica, baby, you will always hold a place in my heart over that imposter.

le love

Waking up today, I knew it would be a good day. Finally being able to sleep with my window open allows for the natural alarm clock that follows the birds that have taken up residence in the forest preserve behind my apartment. Not that coffee doesn't play a huge role in my exit from sleep, it's just that the sun and warm breeze don't hurt. 

So 7 a.m. started with the great feeling that comes with being up early and having one of the first days of spring ahead of you. 

... then came le love. 

One of the most beautiful blogs that I have found. 

Simplistic.
Personal.
Voyeuristic.
Romantic.
